How to Select the Correct Cab Command and Cable for Xarios® and Integra® Units

When it comes to selecting the right cab command and cable for your transport refrigeration system, it’s easy to assume that all units are the same—especially when they look nearly identical. However, small details can make a big difference in compatibility and performance. That’s why it’s important to understand the variations that apply to different models.

This guide will help you identify the correct cab command and cable combination for the following Carrier Transicold® applications:

Applicable Models:

• XARIOS® Series:
  XARIOS® 200, 300, 350, 350 MT, 400, 500, 600, 600 MT

• INTEGRA® Series:
  INTEGRA® 20S, 30S, 40S, 40X, 50S, 50X

For these units, there are three types of cab commands, each requiring a specific cable setup.

3-Digit Display Cab Command

Displays 3 characters (letters or numbers). Common on earlier models.

4-Digit Display Cab Command

Displays 4 characters. Commonly used in newer systems.

Multi-Temperature (Multi Temp) Cab Command

Used for multi-zone systems. This setup requires a double-ended cable to connect two microprocessors.
